Instructions

Ideally, the syllabus for a course acts as a sort of contract between the instructors and the students.  It explains the intended learning outcomes, topics, assignments and pace of a course.  At the same time, it communicates the expectations for both the instructors and the students.  The instructors tell the students what can be expected of them--when they will be available outside of class, how grades will be determined, that they will be prepared to facilitate activities in the classroom--and explain what they expect of the students in terms of classroom environment, timeliness and preparedness.

For it to function in that way, though, everyone needs to read and understand what is in the syllabus.  To facilitate this process, we have created a quiz to make sure that each member of the class is familiar with the most important elements of our syllabus for this quarter.  Please read the syllabus carefully, and then answer the following questions.  Bonus points if you find an error or typo that we can fix!

Only registered, enrolled users can take graded quizzes
