Please submit your answers by the end of first week.

You have three questions to answer.

The first one is if you are 18 and older. The second question is "Multimedia Release Consent" which is primarily for recording classroom lectures and web-conferences. The third one is for joining the FLEX Mode.

What is FLEX Mode?

FLEX Mode provides scheduling flexibility and options for students who are enrolled in:

• an online section to attend a face-to-face class on campus.
• an fully on-campus or hybrid section to continue their coursework in the online section.

It allows students to take advantage of both in-person instruction and online course flexibility. It is optional and not mandatory.

For example, you’re taking an online section, and there is a topic that you would prefer in-person instruction. You may choose to drop-in the classroom lecture(s) of the same course by the same instructor.

The opposite direction works, too. You’re enrolled in an on-campus section, and you may need to go out of town for a family obligation. You can continue the coursework online by following the online section. Upon return, you can rejoin your on-campus section.

In essence, you can switch back and forth between online and on-campus sections as needed in a given course throughout the quarter.
