Writing Assessment for Communications

Purpose

• Your assignment for today is to complete a Writing Assessment. 
• The word "assess" means to evaluate or estimate ability and quality. Your response to the writing assessment will show me your ability to answer a question and develop your thoughts. It will also show me the quality of your writing. 

Instructions

• Pick one (1) of the questions to answer.  You are free to choose the question that interests you most.  You may take as much time as you need, but your goal is to write for 1 hour or less. 

Expectations

• Use your best sentence structure, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. This is not a test and your work does not have to be perfect. 
• Write at least 8 sentences or 2-3 paragraphs. Do not write more than 4 paragraphs! Kyle will not send you a response about this assessment.
