Module 6 Objectives
In Module 6 students will discuss retail cannabis professionalism as it relates to patients and privacy. Students will learn the basic considerations of customer privacy. We will discuss the importance of having and knowing a retail store's privacy policy. Students will become familiar with the medical marijuana patient database and important practices around its use. We will the explore the pros and cons of patient participation in the confidential patient database. We will conclude with a discussion about how good listening skills can make you a better consultant.
Furthermore, by the end of the unit students will:
- Identify four fundamental values that underlie the importance of customer privacy
- Provide, in paragraph form of at least five (5) sentences, an example of a conversation that a consultant may have with a customer and why customer privacy is important to respect
- Be able to identify the four Authorization Database parameters
- Be able to identify the four important components or elements of the recognition card
- Know how many times the legal limit a medical marijuana customer may purchase at licensed retail store with a medical marijuana endorsement
- Identify the retail tax benefits to medical marijuana patients
- Identify three symptoms associated with cannabis intoxication
- Discuss the pros and cons of the confidential patient database and how to objectively answer questions about it.
